About us

Dartmoor and District Progress Association Inc liases with local government and commerce to promote the Dartmoor district.

The Association maintains and beautifies the inner town areas on a voluntary basis, and leads the way with community projects such as the Memorial Streetscape Tree Carvings, the Village Green and River Walk.

It also accepts the roles of Tidy Town Committee, Tourism Association and Rural Transaction Centre Committee of Management, and works tirelessly towards improving and promoting the Town and surrounding District.
